Do I have family history of diabetes?

On my mother’s side,my grandma has diabetes,she has the kind where she needs to inject insulin everyday.She 73,and had the insulin injections less than 10years ago,so when she gave birth to my mom,she still didn’t have it.No one in my dad’s side has it.My mom doesn’t have and none of her siblings do.So does this mean I have a diabetes family history?Or since my grandma didn’t have it when my mom was born,I have very little chance of getting it?
